The updated unboxing experiences of this classic Monopoly game offers not just sustainable packaging materials, but also enhanced gameplay. Thoughtfully designed inserts subtly inform both setup and gameplay, creating a more enjoyable experience.
Hasbro encountered challenges with their existing supplier, leading them to request that Veritiv showcase their expertise in packaging. This was done by giving the challenge to reimagine the iconic board game Monopoly, with a focus on sustainability and logistics enhancements.

Unboxing: The arrangement and positioning of game components and manuals can vary across different Monopoly versions, and even within the same version. The banker's tray can sometimes be misunderstood as merely a storage piece rather than a game component.
MARKET RESEARCH
Users enjoyed the following aspects of the game's opening: The importance of a seamless re-boxing experience, equivalent to the unboxing; Consideration of the table space occupied; and the integration of a compelling story into the unboxing process.
